The Epic Games has finally start rolling out much-requested for the Fortnite account merging feature that allows people to link different Fortnite accounts they created on various consoles. The Fortnite supports cross-platform multiplayer now but it wasn't the case until recently that Sony had refused to allow Cross-Play on the PS4.


The Epic Games has finally start rolling out much-requested for the Fortnite account merging feature that allows people to link different Fortnite accounts they created on various consoles. The Fortnite supports cross-platform multiplayer now but it wasn't the case until recently that Sony had refused to allow Cross-Play on the PS4. But Many Fortnite players, however, had one account on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and also a separate account on PS4. But now these players can link there separate accounts, as confirmed by Epic Games. Moreover, there are conditions to be met to use the Fortnite account merge feature without issues.

This Epic Games said that for players to use the Fortnite account merge feature, they will have to ensure that one of there Fortnite accounts played on Xbox One or Nintendo Switch before September 28, 2018, and also the other one on PS4 before the same date. But If they created the account after that date, it can't be merged. Remember that if your account is disabled or banned, it is not eligible to be merged until the ban is lifted or the account is activated.

Now you can choose which Fortnite account that you want to make your primary account and link the other as a secondary account. Once you link your accounts correctly, you will see a banner in the Fortnite lobby with the countdown timer until your in-game items are merged. Epic Games said that items and V-Bucks is going to held for two weeks before they are merged into the primary account. But if you don't have access to any of the email addresses linked to your accounts, your Fortnite account can't be merged.

All the cosmetic items that is from the battle royale mode will be merged into your main Fortnite account. And From Save the World, you can now migrate the following items: Llamas, Defenders, Heroes, Schematics, Survivors, XP, Evolution and also Perk Materials. But unfortunately, Unreal Marketplace items with Save the World account level, and  progress will not be merged from your secondary accounts. So be careful with which account you make your primary account.
